Microalbumin (µAlbumin) Quantification Test
The µAlbumin test measures the concentration of microalbumin (µAlbumin) in urine to support the early detection of kidney damage.
Albumin is the most abundant protein in the blood and is normally retained by healthy kidneys. However, when kidney function is impaired, small amounts of albumin are excreted in the urine, making it a valuable marker for early renal dysfunction—particularly in patients with diabetes or hypertension.
